Health & Safety Monitor

QUALIFICATIONS:
REPORTS TO
EVALUATED BY: Building Principal
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Valid Ohio Educational Aide permit
- Must complete paraprofessional requirements
- Proper certification in First Aid and CPR
- Willing to participate in district in-service training
- Neat appearance
- Successfully complete and pass a BCI & FBI background check
REPORTS TO
EVALUATED BY: Building Principal
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow all approved school and building policies and procedures
- Inspect all restrooms for the purpose of alleviating loitering or destruction
- Assist students in the hallways
- Greet and offer directions to visitors
- Assist with tutoring for any student as needed
- Help maintain a safe environment
- Assist students with disabilities with the elevator or chair lift
- Assist with student hygiene as needed
- Any other duties assigned by the classroom teacher or building principal
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Remainder of the 2025-2026 School Year
- Seven (7) hours/day
- Salary as per negotiated agreement (LACE)
