QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid Ohio Educational Aide permit
Must complete paraprofessional requirements

Proper certification in First Aid and CPR
Willing to participate in district in-service training
Neat appearance
Successfully complete and pass a BCI & FBI background check

JOB GOAL:   To work cooperatively and assist the classroom teacher assigned

REPORTS TO
EVALUATED BY:     Building Principal

   RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follow all approved school and building policies and procedures
Inspect all restrooms for the purpose of alleviating loitering or destruction
Assist students in the hallways
Greet and offer directions to visitors
Assist with tutoring for any student as needed
Help maintain a safe environment
Assist students with disabilities with the elevator or chair lift
Assist with student hygiene as needed
Any other duties assigned by the classroom teacher or building principal

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

2026-2027 School Year
6.75 hours/day
Salary as per negotiated agreement (LACE)
