PRESCHOOL INTERVENTION AIDE
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 2025-2026 School Year
Contract 187 days/year
6.75 hours/day
Salary as per negotiated agreement (LACE)
JOB GOAL: The major role of the Preschool Intervention Aide is to assist in the effective implementation of programs, projects and services to meet the needs of assigned students.
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Valid Ohio Educational Aide permit.
2. Must complete paraprofessional requirements.
3. Proper certification in First Aid and CPR.
4. Neat appearance.
5. Successfully complete and pass a BCII and FBI check.
DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow all approved school and building policies and procedures.
- Participate in on-going related in-service training programs.
- Assist identified students with all educational needs as prescribed by the Director of Special Programs.
- Administer and proctor designated testing.
- Communicate effectively with building administrators, staff and parents.
- Maintain confidentiality of students.
- Greet and offer directions to visitors.
- Help maintain a safe environment.
- Any other duties assigned by the Director of Special Programs.
- Assist in toileting needs.
