 Summer Food Service Program Cook
2 Positions Available

 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. A high school diploma or training and experience that are considered equivalent.
  2. Ability to work in a busy environment.
  3. Ability to meet time schedules.
  4. The ability to communicate in a courteous manner.
  5. A neat appearance.
  6. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  7. At least one-year experience in school food service.
  8. Must be ServSafe Certified
  9. Successfully complete and pass a BCII and FBI check.
 
JOB GOAL:    To efficiently operate the summer food service program.
 
REPORTS TO/EVALUATED BY:  Director of Food Services or supervising Administrator
 
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. To prepare food prior to serving time.
  2. To serve food in a clean, safe and timely manner.
  3. To clean up and sanitize the cafeteria and cafeteria equipment.
  4. Assume responsibility for the storage and disposal of unused food.
  5. Observe all safety and sanitation procedures as outlined by state and local policies.
  6. To perform any and all duties as requested by the Director of Food Services or supervising administrator.
 
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:     June 1 - July 31, 2026
                                                   6 hours per week
