About Us
Each year, the Furniture Bank of Central Ohio reduces the impact of poverty by providing an average of 50,000 pieces of essential furniture to more than 3,600 Central Ohio families and individuals enduring poverty, homelessness, or other crises. Our core program, Furniture for Families, is a collaborative material assistance program with more than 75 social service agencies, faith centers, and other local partners who help share the cost of furniture collection, distribution, and storage. The Furniture Bank operates two additional social enterprises in support of our mission: our Furniture with a Heart thrift stores and Downsize with a Heart service. Now entering our 27th year of service to the community, FBCO has proudly served approximately 85,000 families in Central Ohio.

The Chamber is instrumental in connecting local business owners of all types, generating valuable collaborations among a diverse group of people who share a sincere desire to support each other and help our communities prosper.
Having an organization that has their finger on the pulse of the local business community is invaluable and one that we do not take for granted. To support this expanding network of businesses, the Chamber provides seminars and workshops both virtual and in person to help leaders grow their business.
