Home Repair Specialist - Full or Part Time Available (15-40 hours per week)
Pay Range: $15.00-$21.50 per hour (dependent on prior experience)
Job Summary: We’re seeking reliable and skilled Home Repair Specialists to join our team and positively impact the lives of Licking County seniors. In this role, you’ll provide essential residential maintenance services to ensure safe, clean, and comfortable living environments for our clients. Additionally, you’ll assist with light maintenance tasks and event setup at our agency.

Core Technology Competencies: Demonstrated working knowledge of a tablet for work purposes, notes, and how to use GPS for directions.
General Requirements: Commitment and desire to provide excellent service to all clients and aging community members. Maintain predictable and regular attendance, work stated hours, communicate, comprehend, and follow policies and procedures, and develop and maintain positive working relationships with all staff. Must be able to perform all job responsibilities satisfactorily and meet the same job title's physical requirements. All employees must possess and maintain a Valid Ohio Driver’s License and the minimum auto insurance coverage for Ohio (must be able to provide proof upon request). All job offer applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and urine drug screening.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License and proof of state-minimum auto insurance.
- Ability to drive a utility van.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Physical capability to meet the demands of the job.
- Dependable, regular attendance and the ability to work flexible hours.
- Light carpentry, unclogging drains, wall repairs, light bulb/fuse replacement, hanging pictures/bulletins/dry erase boards.
- Moving appliances and furniture for cleaning purposes.
- Carpet cleaning.
- Power washing of decks, steps, and ramps.
- Replacing mailbox, post, and numbers.
- Seasonal outdoor yard and lot maintenance - no mowing or weed eating.
- Install smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, changing furnace filters.
- Maintain supply and tool inventory and order as needed.
- Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment as required.
- Weatherproofing storm windows.
- Helping with light maintenance and event set up at the agency when needed.
- Other routine maintenance duties as assigned.
