OBJECTIVE: The Communications & Engagement Coordinator supports the YMCA’s mission by creating content and experiences that deepen member belonging, elevate donor stewardship, and drive participation in programs and annual giving efforts. This role partners closely with the Director of Member & Donor Engagement to execute multi-channel communications, amplify Annual Giving, and translate stories of impact across web, email, social, and events.
 
In this position, they will be responsible for highlighting daily YMCA life through photos, videos, and written stories, produce content for YMCA social media platforms, maintain social media calendars, and collect data as needed, and support member communication by creating internal signage and announcements, tabling at external events, and working with directors on projects as needed.

This position provides exposure to writing, communication, social media management, and learning about the internal functions of a nonprofit organization.
