Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a veteran of the Armed Forces of the United States who received an honorable discharge or if a qualified veteran is not available the spouse, surviving spouse, child, or parent of a veteran, per Ohio Revised Code 5901 (Verification of eligibility must be included with the application).

  • Current Ohio driver’s license (driving is considered an essential function of this position).

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Effective computer skills.

  • Experience, knowledge, and/or training in administration and bookkeeping; excellent organizational skills required.

  • Typing and keyboarding skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience in outreach and coordinating of public services.

 

Hours: Full-Time, 35 hours per week Pay Rate: $30.21 per hour

Duties: Complete all basic office duties, including but not limited to:

-Filing (daily) Making Coffee Maintain Public Areas of the Office

-Typing Answering Phones Messages

-Directing Calls Mailing Greeting Clients

-Inventory Distribution of Documentation Maintain Record and Storage Areas

-Participate in Events and Outreach Activities

-Ensure Proper Maintenance on Office Vehicles is Scheduled and Completed

 

The Administrative Assistant will assist the Director with all tasks necessary to support the daily operations of the office. The Administrative Assistant must maintain a pleasant, courteous, and professional demeanor at all times.
