Project Estimator

Project Construction Company located in Hebron, Ohio is looking for a experienced construction
project estimator. The position will entail working in both commercial and residential settings. This
position requires superior communication & math skills, as you’ll collaborate with subcontractors,
engineers, architects and construction workers.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed estimate sheets, informed bid proposals and supporting documentation for
• submission to clients or subcontractors
• Evaluate project documents including blueprints, specifications and develop contracts to identify
• scope, materials and labor requirements
• Assist project managers, architects and subcontractors to refine details and establish accurate pricing
• Perform takeoffs, analyzing the amounts of materials and resources required for each project division
• Prepare and maintain a record of historical costs, suppliers and subcontractors to expedite and
• improve future estimates and budgeting
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Estimator, Project Manager or field management role
• Knowledge of safety, health and quality guidelines for construction sites
• Proficient in using Excel and Word
• Detail oriented, well organized, effective handling pressure and time management to meet deadlines
• Degree in Construction or Construction Management is a plus
