Central Ohio Technical College seeks part-time faculty to teach Mathematics, Biology, Speech, Sociology.

Position Summary
Part-time faculty provide engaging, high-quality instruction, assess student performance, and support student success. Teaching assignments may include day, evening, or weekend classes at our Newark campus or regional campuses in Pataskala, Knox, and Coshocton. These are onsite teaching opportunities. We welcome professionals who bring real-world experience to the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Teach course content aligned with learning outcomes.

• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom.

• Assess student performance and provide timely feedback.

• Maintain accurate attendance and grade records.

• Follow all college academic policies.

Preferred Qualifications

• College-level teaching experience.

• Familiarity with instructional technology (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard).

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
