- Instruction— Support and follow all company policies and procedures; as well as follow the instructions provided by direct leadership members (including other duties as assigned).
- Work Area—Maintain a neat and orderly working environment to ensure safety of each member and efficiency of production along with maintaining 5-S expectations.
- Operations—Be able to obtain and train towards a working knowledge of the current infrastructure and operation(s) of process and equipment.
- Personnel Management - Evaluate and supervise employees. Monitor employee attendance and work flow, and approve work on a regular day or overtime, etc. Ensure schedules are maintained.
- Training — Makes plans for hiring and can create and execute training plans for employees. Can create and utilize skill matrix develop the skillset of the maintenance team to improve performance.
- Planning and Implementation— Understanding of production priorities to help determine a daily course of action. Prioritize maintenance projects to maintain schedule, performance and cost. Maintains and orders consumable replacements for machine components to ensure machine reliability and uptime.
- Troubleshooting — Assists in the troubleshoots and repairs machine breakdowns including mechanical, electronic, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Have the ability to utilize electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics for the troubleshooting of processes and machines.
- Post Process —Whenever necessary, analyzes the causes of breakdowns and executes countermeasures to prevent recurrence. Modifies, updates and enhances manufacturing equipment in order to produce quality products.
- Machine Setup and Operation—Sets up and operates machine tools, welding equipment,
- and hand tools in machine shop to make small tools and parts needed for use in manufacturing processes.
- Communication- Communicate at all levels and across all shifts. Participate in shift transition meetings and provide a summary of the status of area projects to the engineering and maintenance teams and project stakeholders. When assigned by supervisor, can provide training and instructions to other members.
- Reporting and Records- Report all problems to manager and can lead shift meetings to maintain a flow of information and priorities to multiple shifts. Generate performance reports, determine/record all spare replacement components. Can utilize and maintain maintenance tracking software to record work performed and as a resource for future troubleshooting.

Background Requirements
Qualifications:
- Aptitude to acquire the basic skills required for this position within the 6-month orientation period
- Ability to perform employee reviews and execute disciplinary action plans
- Aptitude for continuous improvement and employee development.
- Ability to identify component pieces used in the manufacturing process
- Working knowledge of documentation (such as drawings and operation sheets, etc.).
- Aptitude for measuring (taking readings, making calculations and keeping records).
- Strong troubleshooting in mechanical, electronic, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Strong knowledge of machine shop/fabrication equipment such as CNC machines, mills, presses, shear and measuring equipment.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings. Thorough knowledge of assembly processes.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Adept in the following skills: PLC programming, robotics control, software operation, pump repair, piston & screw air compressor repair, 24/120/240 volt wiring practices, DC wattage wiring practices, photo eye/proximity switch set-up and operation, lock-out/tag-out procedures, compressed air procedures, and quality control procedures.
Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or its equivalent in combined education and work experience.
Experience:
Eight to ten years’ experience in manufacturing and/or engineering with three to five years of management experience.
