About Us
Established in 1947, the Licking County Historical Society is dedicated to preserving, protecting, and promoting the rich history of Licking County. The Society oversees several historic sites: the Sherwood-Davidson House, the Buckingham Meeting House, the Webb House Museum, and the Alligator Mound. Office & Research Library are located on the second floor of the Buckingham Meeting House (5 North Sixth Street, Veterans Park, Newark).
